Schnitzler Syndrome
I have had urticaria/hives for 13 years. It has been difficult not knowing what was causing the skin rash. I went to see many doctors and had many tests trying to find a diagnosis. When the doctors could not find a cause they called it idiopathic. It hasn't been easy dealing with itching, burning, and painful skin. My other symptoms are fatigue and malaise, arthralgia, arthritis, bursitis, slight nausea, anemia, chills and fevers, swollen lymph nodes, monoclomal IgM, luekocytosis, bone pain, and sclerotic bone. For many years all I could do was take medication to relieve my symptoms.
